You want to burn your bridges?
Fine.
Fuel the blaze with our past;
The nights I said "I love you"
And sat next to you while we
Watched the same horror movie
For the ten billionth time,
The days I spent wandering
Fields and holding your hand.
I'll turn back the clock and
Paint my face with ashes.
My warcry will ring through
The shadows left by our kisses
When I dump all my love letters
Into the roiling ocean.

It'll be the biggest crucifixion of love the world has ever seen.
Slowly coming out of it, you guys.

This is the result of another bout of sudden insipartion. Gotta love it. Also, yes I was thinking about the Boston Tea Party when I wrote this. Could you tell?

AND. I have a few more questions for you.

> Does the poem flow?
> Is it over-dramatic? If so, is that point good or bad?
> How can I make this poem better?

Feel free to comment/fave. Feedback (good or bad) is appreciated.
